Pushing 50 with ailments I use this almost every night to help calm my body before sleep. I don’t do it for a sweat but the heating pad element. I keep mine on the passenger side of my bed so I can just roll out of it and crawl in bed. I wouldn’t recommend putting straight in the floor find some quality cushioning underneath.

Excellent Sauna Blanket-you get what you pay for
This is a really well-made sauna blanket and is superior to most of the ones I’ve tested on Amazon for the entire package of features. I tried several and this is the one I kept. First, this blanket has a heavy waterproof shell and two carbon fiber heating elements (top and bottom). There is a remote control that sets the time and temperature together. Normally I prefer separate zones but this one worked well enough. The heating actually got higher than I expected, over 180 deg F, and at around 30 mins in the bag I was sweating profusely. That said the bag took longer to heat up than expected, around 20 minutes. The zippers are high quality with solid plastic fasteners that don’t break. I liked the fact that it only had zippers on the left side. Many other blankets have two zippers which isn’t necessary and is just something else to break. The length was generous and made it easy to manipulate the bag to close it. One thing I didn’t like was that the head opening let out much heat, so I covered my head and scrunched down in the bag to decrease the heat loss. Overall I recommend this sauna blanket plus a three-year warranty.

Heats up well, seems sturdy
I got this sauna blanket to see if it would help reduce my back pain. It heats up pretty quickly and is easy to use.It comes with 5 bags that enhance sweating and make clean up easy. You can purchase more bags if you like to use the bags. The sauna itself can be sprayed with a gentle cleanser and completely wiped down as well. You can easily unzip the side of the sauna to access the entire interior for cleaning.I wanted to warm my body and back, and see if the infrared heat would ease my back pain (it does). I used a folded in half twin sized flat sheet (100% cotton) to line the inside of the bag.I’ve used it a couple times so far. The small pillow is helpful in keeping my head/neck comfortably aligned. The controller is easy to use, although I wish the cord (the one that plugs into the wall) as well as the cord that connects to the controller were both longer.The sauna bag itself is large and heavy (not overly heavy but it feels heavy duty in a good way). I’m a small woman, 5’4” tall and I wear size 2 or XS. I could easily fit 2 of me in the sauna. There’s lots of extra room lengthwise too – at least an extra 12” of length.There are 2 openings for your arms, but I chose to keep my arms inside the sauna so I didn’t lose heat through my arms. There’s a cut out at the top for your neck, and it makes it fit more comfortably while you are using it.Feels good, but I haven’t used to above 105*F because it’s still summer and I just am not into overheating. When the weather’s cold it might feel better to turn the temperature up on this, get thoroughly warmed up and then do a cold plunge. I did that when I lived in Japan: went to Onsen during winter and would immerse into an icy stream after getting thoroughly heated up. Very refreshing and relaxing.This also comes with a reusable heating pad. It can be heated in hot water or a microwave oven. Alternatively, you can place it in the freezer and use it as a cold pack.The sauna comes with a fabric storage bag which makes it convenient to store. You have to fold the unit up carefully and tightly to get it to fit properly into the bag.Overall, it’s a good sauna. I’m looking forward to enjoying it more when the weather cools down.

Perfect Workout Companion
Wow I use this 4 times a week after a workout session. This is a very relaxing way to wind down, it is easy to clean, easy to setup and I love how fast it heats up. Definitely a keeper, made of good materials and definitely made to last. I bought one for my sister after a few months. The cost was minimal, the size was perfect for me at 5’-11”.

My best description for this blanket is that it is more like a heated sleeping bag with arm holes. And even though it says it’s meant for a spa like sensation, this would be a great item to use in the winter time. The whole purpose of it is for you to be able to sweat out impurities and end up feeling refreshed and relaxed afterwards. It has a gel pack included that can either be put in the fridge to cool it down or put into the microwave to heat it up. It depends on what you need at the time. There is also a little pillow that is meant for you to lay down while you’re having your session in the blanket. It says that it can go up to 176°F but I have never set it that high since that would be too much heat for me. The highest I have set it to is 120°F since that is enough for me to get a good sweat going and any higher would stand a good chance of making me sick. But I do admit that I feel relaxed after getting out of it and rinsing off. It also has helped me sleep a bit better since I get sleepy when I get too hot.
