EXACTLY what I needed
I have like 5 alarms (in addition to this watch), and was still somehow sleeping through them (?)It is soooo much harder to sleep through this “shock watch” (the sound could be louder, but not really why I bought It).If you’ve ever used a TENS unit, the “shocks” are very similar to that (minus the stickers and wires). I included a photo of the inside of the watch that shocks / vibrates. If you have issues getting up to standard alarms, I highly Recommend. It’s a bit of an investment (but cheaper than losing your job from oversleeping).I also LOVE the app. (I haven’t had to pay for it or subscribe – if you want the community aspect and challenges there may be a fee, but I’m able to access the alarms and wake up features I need). Last 2 photos are one of my alarms. You can set it to make you scan a QR code (you’ll have to print it out and put it somewhere), do jumping jacks, or do a puzzle on the app. I’ve only used the puzzle, but it has a few different types of puzzles it randomizes (they help wake your brain up a little bit).Next 2 options are preventing you from snoozing, or you have it zap you again when you snooze.Light sleep tries to wake you up during a lighter sleep cycle.Escalating alarm helps with battery life and incremental gets louder or increases the zap ⚡️until you wake up.Smart alarm makes sure you didn’t fall back asleep by checking to see if you’re moving; if you don’t move within 5 minutes the alarm goes off again. All are optional (& free / with the cost of the watch). You can also set the amounts of the volume, zap level, and vibration levels from 0-100%. I usually use between 70-80% (with the escalating alarm). The shock watch also has an option for bad habits (like skin picking/smoking). You can set it to shock, beep, or vibrate if you raise your hand up (near your head). That’s also optional, it works okay (not really what I bought It for) but I’d like to see an option to maybe “train” it to alert you in a certain position or a certain amount of time maybe.Overall, I love It; I am Still employed. I love the purple color, and the shock part definitely works. I did want to point out that my wrists are TINY (~6 inches); the smallest notch is slightly tight, but I usually use the 2nd smallest, so may not work as well if you have child-sized wrists like me lol but all in all 10/5 ⭐️

Amazing for Deep Sleepers – Actually wakes you up
This product works amazing for me.I have tried many things in the past (alarms every 5 minutes, runaway alarms, sunrise /SAD alarms, puzzle alarms, loud radio, traditional bells, etc..) and nothing has every consistently worked for me. I can sleep through all of that. This worked for me because auditory and visual stimulation don’t wake me up, but physical movement does. I found out about the type that shakes the bed, but I share a bed and didn’t want to disturb my partner with the bed shaking. The band wasn’t comfortable at all, so I got a replacement band and it works great. It’s definitely heavy on my wrist, so that’s something I just try to deal with (it’s worth knowing that I’ll wake up on time). There is a feature that checks using your movement to see when you are in a light sleep starting about 30 minutes before your alarm is set for. This feature has been super helpful because when it wakes me up, I’m not too groggy to stay awake usually.I also like that you can set the alarm to start with buzzing, then a beeping, then go to the shock feature. I typically wake up enough to start turning off the alarm before it gets to the shock feature, and usually before the beeping starts. My partner is never woken up by the buzzing, but the beeping does sometimes wake them up, depending on how loud I set it.I like that you can adjust and test beforehand how much of a shock it gives so it isn’t too much, just enough to annoy you awake (or more if you need that). The shock feels a bit like a tens unit (for muscle pain relief), and I didn’t feel anything until it got to 50% shock. The alarms are easy to make and have lots of helpful features [shock when pressing snooze, getting more annoying when ignored, doing jumping jacks, you can print off a qr code and put it somewhere in your house to scan, do various math puzzles, etc.].The app is kind of slow sometimes. For instance – when I go to turn off an alarm, it takes a second to load the screen, but the alarm continues on my wrist. It will also take a few seconds at least to allow you to do anything else on the app right after dismissing an alarm (possibly to keep you awake).Overall, the best alarm I’ve ever had. I am no longer afraid to try to sleep on nights that I have to get up early or by a very specific time, because I know my alarms will actually wake me up.

Really helps
I used to have one of the older models which helped me a lot with compulsive eating, it ended up breaking after several years so i decided to get a new one. This one is great too and still helps. Battery lasts much longer then the old one but the shock isn’t as strong. i set it to 100% but it still feels a bit weaker

Definitely works!
This is absolutely awesome! You can adjust the shock intensity, vibration and sound intensity. I personally tested every level up to 100. It almost feels like something bites you and it stings but your still okay. I keep my vibration at 50 and my shock intensity at 75%. You get a beep sound then you have to grab your phone and do whatever option you chose, whether it be a puzzle, scanning a QR code or jumping Jack’s. I keep mine on puzzle lock and it will get your mind focused to figure the puzzle out or you get shocked again lol oh and I just realized today it also comes with a strapless lock, thats what the little purple thing is. I also ordered a magnetic silicone watch band from Pavlok so I can adjust it faster and more comfortable when sleeping. Now the app itself is great but the watch does unfair constantly, so right at bedtime I always open the app and make sure its paired and leave the app open and then just lock my phone, and it stays paired this way throughout the night. Overall this has been great and its waking me up on time and I can see overtime eventually im gonna wake up before it shocks me so I can avoid being shocked. This is 100% worth it, I have tried all kinds of methods from vibration bands, those loud shaking alarm clocks, but many other things and I always either sleep through it or just shut it off. And I may need to go back to the original band as that one is harder to take off when half asleep lol

The item is good; weakes up which helps to improve sleep patern. I will not use paid verasion of the application which is not needed to controll sleep or even other habbits.

I read some negative reviews on here, so I was preparing myself for disappointment – but it is FANTASTIC for someone like me who finds it impossible to get up.There are a huge number of options, but personally, I have it set to make me do jumping jacks (and no, waving your arm about in bed doesn’t work!) I’ve set mine to vibrate, sound an alarm and then shock, so I have a minute or so if I want to avoid a shock. I have it set at 50% shock and that is plenty. It can’t be turned off either! If it is telling you to do your star jumps/ puzzle etc, you can’t over-ride it on your phone. Sure, you can take it off to stop the electric shocks, but it will still make a noise and vibrate (be careful you don’t set it for the wrong time by mistake!!)There is also an option which means that if it senses that you’ve gone back to bed, it will start again (I think it is about 5 minutes later). The problem with that setting is that if you take it off to have a shower, it thinks you’ve gone back to bed and you have to redo the jumping jacks! It can be set to increase in intensity as time goes on and so that it wakes you up when you’re in a lighter sleep phase.Looking at the negative reviews….:I have an iPhone, so there hasn’t been any software issues, unlike another android user.Yes, the back of the watch obviously needs to make contact with your skin for you to feel the shock/ vibrations, but it just means you have to wear it like a watch, not a bangle. It arrives charged and the battery lasts about 7 days, so I wonder if people who have commented that it “just stopped working after a week” have remembered to charge it?!A big recommendation from me – and I wasn’t expecting it to work – I was just desperate.
