Effective, Easy to Use, and Worth It
Pros:Very effective—improves breathing strengthSolid quality and durable buildTwo mouthpieces includedNo setup required, very easy to usePortable and practical fitness toolCons:Pricey compared to alternativesOverall, a totally effective tool for anyone wanting to improve respiratory performance.I’ve tried different breathing devices before, but this one is hands-down my favorite. It’s completely effective and totally functional—I’ve already noticed a real difference in my breathing strength. The resistance is strong, and the quality of the device itself feels solid. It comes with two mouthpieces, which is a big plus. I thought I’d prefer the smaller one, but I actually didn’t, so I was glad to have the second option. Super easy to use, no setup required—just pick it up and go.Now, I wouldn’t call it the best value for the money because it’s not cheap, but it is worth the price if you’re serious about improving your breathing strength. (I am not an athlete, just getting started at the gym)

great quality
I recently tried The Breather Fit Respiratory Lung Trainer, and it’s been a game-changer for my breathing and overall fitness. The device is simple to use and helps strengthen respiratory muscles, improving lung capacity and endurance. I’ve noticed a significant difference in my stamina during workouts and even in my daily activities. It’s compact and portable, making it easy to incorporate into my routine. If you’re looking to improve your breathing or boost your athletic performance, I highly recommend giving it a try!

Decent product; a little pricey for what it is. Use it properly & you’ll have no problems
PROS: Comes with independent inspiration/expiration (inhale/exhale) ability. I had an Ultrabreathe long ago, which doesn’t offer that option. Pretty easy to clean. Lots of videos online re: cleaning, use, etc. This one is for ATHLETES–if you have COPD or other, you want the white/blue one: “The Breather”–coloring makes it easy to determine which one to get/use. Comes with extra mouthpiece for smaller mouths, if one needs it–again, the Ultrabreathe had that weird silicone thing, which, IMO, created more spit issues with use. After a couple days’ use, it already seemed to be helping with my issues when exercising; I started having exercise-induced bronchio-spasm in the last couple years, and use albuterol when air quality is really crappy from heat/humidity or really cold. Figured I would “get back on” RMT to use less of the drugs + hopefully increase athletic performance (too soon to tell on that part)–anecdotally, glad it seems to be helping & plan to stick with it.CONS: Really, only the cost. It’s plastic and probably some internal diaphragm (vs. the Ultrabreathe was a twist with a plastic ball inside–hence, the lack of independent in/out adjustability, and only $20). Those complaining about “blowing it out” are probably not using it correctly–trying “too hard.” Videos make it clear: Use at 70% of your “lung strength” & do NOT puff out cheeks with inhaling OR exhaling. I *might* get “too strong” for this, which would be a bummer. But, if one looks at the Airofit (SMRP of $300!!!) it *also* has independent dials and only about 6 levels–so unless the internal mechanisms are vastly better/stronger, all one is paying for is their app–and no, you don’t need the app unless you are a number junkie or pro athlete–in which case, they will probably pay you to use it. Us normal athlete schmucks, however, will get by just fine with something like this.

Powerful little device that offers many benefits
I love this simple yet powerful little device. I’m 42 and have been training in Taekwondo and other activities, such as running, gym and general life, and I noticed I was gasping out much quicker than I wanted. I bought this, and I’ve noticed a beneficial change in just one week of using it.I’ve also noticed it changes my headspace, producing a very calm and steady state of mind after just 5-10 minutes of use. I think everyone should have one of these in their life, as it will help not only their cardio and lung performance but also their mental and emotional health. At this low price point, I can’t recommend it more highly.

Several goods and a few bads
I like the unit. The mouth pieces are a bit uncomfortable, but it does what it’s supposed to, slow down your respiration and build c02 tolerance.-1star for one of the one way valves is periodically sticky and unreliable. It’s quite annoying-1star for the app wants to gather quite a bit of personalized data on you. I decided I couldn’t agree to the terms. I’m annoyed I have to pay for something that’s going g to steal my data

Excellent for Elevation Training
My husband and I used the Breather Fit as part of our training for Kilimanjaro (peak: 19,430ft). It was instrumental at training ourselves how to breathe properly with minimal exertion. We could definitely tell the difference while we were trekking on the mountain – we were not as tired as we could have been at higher elevations, and slept well at night without noticing the lower pressure air/lack of oxygen. Using the Breather Fit also helped my husband manage his asthma better, and he stopped needing his inhaler as frequently during our cardio training. I would highly recommend this product if you are training for a mountain trek. We started using the Breather Fit 8 weeks prior to our trip. The one downside, and I think this is why they recommend only one person use the device even if you clean it, is that 3 weeks into use (2 people on 1 breather twice per day), the one way valves didn’t seal tightly. We both made it work still by alternating covering the inlet and outlet ports with our hands to ensure a good seal. We bought this breather fit for our one time use, so the product met our requirements.

I felt that I had outgrown the [basic, dare I call it?] Breather, finding probably some benefit of course, but I had the settings on maximum for several weeks, increased reps and sessions – so time to look for something more. The B.Fit is the next logical step, as I’m a SCUBA diver [experienced now], seeking to enhance my dives with better breathing control and ability: so, this is my 2nd day, and feel comfortable on setting 2, used for the first time this morning: no puffing of the cheeks, in control, building from a conservative 10 reps: this device is great, giving me a range to work through far better than the Breather, so an indication that I am in none too bad shape, but also work to do.This is an easy-to-use bit of kit, simple controls, light-weight and not difficult to maintain – the website again is straightforward, with a series of instructional videos that take you through the how-to + give some background [not fully explored as yet, but very promising]. An added bonus I feel, right now with our not-so-friendly virus around is the development and maintenance of good respiratory practice, an awareness of your own breathing ‘norm’ and increased resilience generally – particularly as this virus primarily targets respiratory entry and effects – all things that may just be of real benefit, and so easily done – I’d recommend working through the Breather first, and seeing how that suits – but use an understanding health professional if you feel unsure. Good Health!

I tried this and was skeptical but after 2 weeks of use, my ftp increased as well as my vo2 max by a small margin. I definitely recommend for those with asthma like me but want to breathe stronger.

I was unsure at first but after using it for 10 days it has improved my breathing. The videos and instructions in the app are excellent
